Sustainability

SIMONA Stadpipe has extensive expertise in aquaculture and delivers tailor‑made piping systems to customers worldwide. We contribute to improved fish welfare while also helping to reduce emissions. Polyethylene (PE) is biodegradable, and all components are 100% recyclable. Our quality management system includes strict procedures for the collection of offcuts and surplus materials. These materials are sent for recycling, where they are converted into new PE products, or for energy recovery through controlled incineration.

We care about the environment around us and aim to contribute to the safe transport of water for both people and fish. Polyethylene is part of the solution in the green transition and the transformation society must undergo. All our products comply with ISO 9001:2015, NS‑EN 12201, NS 416, and NS 9416.

We align our products with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which represent a global action plan to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and combat climate change by 2030. SIMONA Stadpipe AS focuses on three specific goals relevant to our operations:
SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation,
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and
SDG 14 – Life Below Water.
